Bluffview Park in TX
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers allows overnight stays only at the designated sites here.
Bluffview Park is a year-round day-use area on the southwest shore of B.A. Steinhagen Lake in the East Texas Pineywoods. The facility features one large group picnic shelter equipped with water and electricity, along with individual first-come, first-served picnic sites. On-site amenities include flush toilets, drinking water, and trash collection. A small store across the road sells fuel, ice, and bait. The surrounding park network offers boat ramps for lake fishing, and Martin Dies, Jr. State Park sits nearby with dedicated paddling trails along the Neches River.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
The B A Steinhagen Lake shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Night skies measure Bortle 4 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Open country -- nothing named rises within 30 miles of here. The nearest town, Jasper, is 14 mi off.
