Oak Park is a day-use area set under large oak trees just below the dam on Wright Patman Lake. The facility features one reservable group picnic shelter equipped with electric and water hookups, alongside several first-come, first-served family picnic sites. Adjacent amenities include a swing set, sand volleyball court, baseball diamond, and a model airplane flying field. While the park has no direct swim beach, public boat ramps and fishing access points on Wright Patman Lake are a short drive away, where anglers target bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish.
