Clear Spring Park is situated in a pine forest along the shores of Wright Patman Lake. The park provides 88 campsites with varying electric hookups (30 and 50 amp, some with sewer), 10 non-electric sites, three waterfront screened shelters, a group camping area for 100 people, and a day-use pavilion. On-site amenities feature a boat ramp with a courtesy dock, a swim beach, hiking trails, a playground, and basketball and volleyball courts. The surrounding 55,000 acres of public timberlands support deer, turkey, and migratory birds.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

The Wright Patman Lake shoreline is 0.3 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 1.1 miles off, a 114-site campground. Night skies measure Bortle 4 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Open country -- nothing named rises within 30 miles of here. Most sites here have an electric hookup -- 8 sit on the water, most of them shaded. The nearest town, Wake Village, is 5.9 mi off.

September normals 6488°F, 3.7″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
