U.S. Army Corps of Engineers allows overnight stays only at the designated sites here.

North Shore Park is a day-use facility along the sandy pine-forested shore of Wright Patman Lake. The area features a sandy swimming beach, a fishing pier, an accessible boat ramp and dock, a playground, a horseshoe pit, and sand volleyball and basketball courts. A reservable picnic shelter accommodates up to 30 people next to flush toilets, supplemented by 60 unhooked first-come, first-served picnic sites without water or power. There are no overnight campsites on site, though Clear Springs Campground is one mile away.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

The Wright Patman Lake shoreline is 0.2 mi off. Night skies measure Bortle 4 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Open country -- nothing named rises within 30 miles of here. The nearest town, Wake Village, is 5.5 mi off.

September normals 6488°F, 3.7″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
