Cliff Point Campground sits at 6,313 feet in a forested ravine along the shore of Cliff Lake in the Gravelly Range. This compact, six-site loop features picnic tables, fire rings, a bear-proof food storage bin, a central vault toilet, and a seasonal drinking water spigot. Sites have tight turning radiuses, limiting recommended trailer length to 16 feet. Nearby, an undeveloped natural-surface boat ramp accesses the clear 600-acre lake. Nearby attractions include blue-ribbon fly fishing on the Madison River five miles away, local trails into the Lee Metcalf Wilderness, and off-road vehicle routes.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
