Goose Point Campground is set along the 2,900-acre Philpott Lake in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. The site offers 63 campsites, 53 of which have electric and water hookups. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station, a swimming beach, a boat ramp, a dock, a fishing pier, a picnic shelter, a playground, and an amphitheater. Surrounded by mixed hardwood and pine forests, the lake features 100 miles of shoreline with hiking trails and fishing for bass, walleye, and catfish. Fairystone State Park borders the lake area.
