Philpott Park is a day-use and camping area overlooking 2,900-acre Philpott Lake in the Blue Ridge foothills. Surrounded by steep banks covered in oak, pine, and cedar, the park houses an overlook, a group camping area, and a group picnic shelter. On-site amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a playground, a boat ramp, hiking trails, and the lake's dam, powerhouse, and visitor center. Fairystone State Park is located adjacent to the property.
