One of four developed camping loops at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park on the northeast Texas shore of a 9,000-acre lake. Moccasin Track offers campsites with 30-amp electric and water hookups, back-in parking, and nearby restrooms with hot showers. Located where two ecoregions converge, the park features 3.3 miles of wooded trails through massive trees and tall grasses, excellent largemouth bass and catfish fishing from a lighted pier and boat ramp, and a gift shop and kayak rentals. The lake was impounded in 1977 by the Fort Sherman Dam and is named after Bob Sandlin, a local businessman and civic leader.
