Lake Bob Sandlin State Park - Broken Bow Camping Area in TX -- Campground & RV Camping in Texas

One of four primary camping loops at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park on a 9,000-acre northeast Texas lake where two ecoregions meet. Broken Bow features electric campsites with 30-amp hookups and water, plus screened shelters accommodating up to eight people with access to hot showers and restrooms. The park offers 3.3 miles of wooded trails, excellent largemouth bass and catfish fishing from a lighted pier and boat ramp, a gift shop, kayak and fishing pole rentals, and a fish-cleaning station. The lake's shores hold massive trees and tall grasses; the lake itself was created in 1977 by the Fort Sherman Dam.
