Johnson Creek Day Use in TX -- Campground & RV Camping in Texas

Johnson Creek Day Use Area is situated where Johnson Creek joins Lake O' the Pines in the pineywoods of east Texas. Built for day gatherings, the facility features a large group picnic shelter with electric hookups that holds up to 100 people, alongside a swimming beach, volleyball court, and fishing dock. A boat ramp and courtesy dock provide access to the 18,700-acre lake for bass, catfish, and crappie fishing. The surrounding shoreline attracts waterfowl hunters and wintering bald eagles, with the historic towns of Jefferson and Marshall nearby.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Overhead clearance here is posted at 12 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.
