Brushy Creek Campground sits on the banks of Lake O' the Pines, an 18,700-acre reservoir along Big Cypress Bayou in east Texas. Camping facilities include 62 RV sites with water and electric hookups alongside 37 tent sites, 12 of which have electricity. Restrooms with hot showers are positioned in each park section. On-site amenities feature a boat ramp, courtesy dock, fishing dock, swimming beach, playground, and sewer dump station. Shoreline bank fishing is available inside the park, while nearby public lands offer hunting access for deer, waterfowl, and small game.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

The Lake O' the Pines shoreline is 0.2 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.7 miles off, a 99-site campground. Open country -- nothing named rises within 30 miles of here. Most sites here have an electric hookup -- one sits on the water, most of them shaded. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Jefferson, is 11 mi off.

September normals 6589°F, 3.6″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
