Miner's Retreat is a furnished, two-bedroom Forest Service cabin sleeping up to six guests near Granite, Oregon. Located at 5,000 feet in the Blue Mountains, it sits on a hillside within the historic 1908 Fremont Powerhouse complex. Amenities include electric lights, electric wall heaters, a full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, a covered porch, and a full bath with summer running water. Winter access requires snowmobiles, skis, or snowshoes. Nearby destinations include the North Fork John Day Wilderness, forest road biking, and boating at Olive Lake.
