Hilltop Hideaway is a furnished, heated 1930s historic cabin sitting at 5,000 feet elevation on a hillside in the Blue Mountains within Umatilla National Forest. It is the uppermost structure of the former Fremont Powerhouse complex, where workers once lived while managing a pipeline from Olive Lake. The one-bedroom cabin includes electricity, a living room, a kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator, and summer running water with a full bath. Outside, a grassy lawn connects to three other cabins. Nearby activities include hiking Wilderness trails, fishing on Olive Lake, and exploring Granite.
