Moose Creek Group Site is a single facility accommodating up to 90 people for camping or picnicking, situated at 5,700 feet elevation next to the Gallatin River and Moose Creek in Gallatin Canyon. Surrounded by pine and fir trees, the site includes picnic tables, campfire rings, and vault toilets. Drinking water and trash service are not available. Visitors use the location for river rafting, kayaking, fishing for trout and grayling, and hiking nearby routes like the Swan Creek and Golden Trout Lakes trails.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
