The lower access road rises steeply above local housing developments and can be extremely challenging for longer rigs, but once on top, the mesa opens up to numerous dispersed sites with sweeping views of Santa Clara, St. George, and the distant red rocks of Snow Canyon. Be aware that the lower portion of the access route is close to active construction and private property boundaries, but legal dispersed camping is widely permitted as you move further south into the BLM parcels.
