Baker Dam Recreation Area sits at 6,500 feet elevation near the Santa Clara River, serving as a base camp for the adjacent reservoir. The campground features graded gravel roads and individual sites with tent pads, vehicle parking, picnic tables, and fire pits with grills. Accessible vault toilets and trash collection are available on site, but there are no water or electrical hookups. Visitors use the area for trout fishing on Baker Dam Reservoir, bird watching along the Overlook Trails, and hunting on neighboring public lands.
