All 14.6 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly graded dirt, with 2 miles of dirt. Climbs 2,200 ft over 14.6 miles -- sustained grades near 16%, with pitches to 48%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~200 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 20 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.

Rock Peak stands 1,229 ft above the site, 1.2 miles north. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.0 miles off. A body of water lies 0.4 mi off. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Shelton, is 17 mi off.
