All 11.9 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly graded dirt, with 2.5 miles of dirt. Climbs 2,900 ft over 11.9 miles -- sustained grades near 16%, with pitches to 64%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~230 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 9 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.

Canyon River runs 0.2 mi off. Anderson Butte stands 2,730 ft above the site, 6.2 miles northwest. The nearest town, Shelton, is 19 mi off.
