Mile 29 Paddlers Camp is a stopping point along the Devils River's South Unit for kayakers and canoeists paddling through Val Verde County's remote wilderness. Clear spring-fed water winds past rugged ridges and scenic canyons in remote southwest Texas. Camps are primitive with minimal shade and require total self-sufficiency: pack all supplies including water and pack out all waste. Surrounding terrain offers over 25 miles of hiking and biking trails through rugged canyon country.
