Primitive walk-in site nestled in a scenic pass between two towering lava formations in the Agua Adentro Backcountry Zone, about twelve miles southwest of Sauceda. The campsite features one picnic table, fire ring, and three tent pads sheltered by dramatic rock formations. The area resonates with canyon wren songbirds noted for their melodious calls. Within Big Bend Ranch State Park's 311,000-acre Chihuahuan Desert wilderness, the terrain showcases volcanic mountains, deep canyons, high plateaus, and elevations ranging from 2,300 feet along the Rio Grande to peaks exceeding 5,100 feet.
