Tent-friendly camping at Davis Mountains State Park in the high desert at 5,500+ feet elevation. Basic sites with picnic tables and water access, along with nearby restrooms and fire rings. Located within a park offering Limpia Creek access and 11 miles of mountain trails climbing from 4,900 to 5,700 feet elevation. Mountain biking, horseback riding, and the historic 4.5-mile Skyline Drive trail built by the Civilian Conservation Corps are on site. Excellent dark skies for stargazing with nearby Fort Davis National Historic Site.
