Bastrop State Park - Pioneer Village Cabins in TX -- Campground & RV Camping in Texas

Located 32 miles southeast of Austin in the Lost Pines region, this 6,600-acre park features the westernmost stand of loblolly pine trees in the United States. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, the park offers historic cabins, full-hookup RV sites, tent campsites, and group barracks. Lake Mina and Little Alum Creek Lake provide fishing opportunities, while seven miles of trails wind through recovering forest. A scenic 12-mile park road connects to adjacent Buescher State Park. Historic CCC craftsmanship throughout; seasonal swimming pool and interpretive center available.
