Walk-in tent camping requiring twenty to sixty yards from the parking area, offering an intimate forest experience among the Lost Pines. Six sites with nearby water and restroom facilities provide a quieter alternative to drive-up camping. Located within the historic Bastrop State Park's recovering loblolly pine ecosystem east of Austin, with access to seven miles of trails, two fishing lakes, wildlife viewing, an interpretive center, and ranger-led nature programs.
