Siltcoos Sand Camping Area offers 16 primitive sand campsites seven miles south of Florence in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Accessible only by 4X4 vehicles on soft sand, the dispersed sites accommodate up to 20 people and 5 vehicles, alongside one larger group site. No drinking water, restrooms, or fire rings are provided on-site; campers must bring portable toilets, fire pans, and water. Designated off-road vehicle routes lead through surrounding pine forests to open riding zones. Non-motorized options include the nearby Waxmyrtle Trail following the Siltcoos River.
