Buffalo Gap Campground sits amidst colorful buttes in western North Dakota. Facilities include two flush toilet buildings and a separate bathhouse with three showers. The nearby Buffalo Gap Trail offers direct access for day hiking and connects into the longer Maah Daah Hey Trail. Wildlife like pronghorn, mule deer, and white-tailed deer frequently move through the camping area, which is situated a short drive from the town of Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
