Rainbow Point Campground sits among dense lodgepole pines on Rainbow Bay along the shore of Hebgen Lake, at an elevation of 6,240 feet. The campground features several single-family sites, many equipped with electric hookups, picnic tables, and campfire rings. Facilities on site include vault toilets, drinking water, a boat ramp, and firewood for purchase. The 21-square-mile lake offers trout fishing, boating, and swimming, while surrounding trails accommodate hiking, biking, and off-road vehicles. The campground is located ten miles north of West Yellowstone.
