Lonesomehurst Campground sits on the South Fork Arm of Hebgen Lake along the Madison River, set among lodgepole pines at an elevation of 6,240 feet. The campground features single-family sites, including four RV-compatible sites with electric hookups, equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings. Facilities include vault toilets, drinking water, and an on-site boat ramp providing direct access to the 21-square-mile lake for boating, swimming, and trout fishing. Off-road vehicle, biking, and hiking trails traverse the surrounding area, with West Yellowstone located 20 minutes away.
