A 36.0-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Idaho County, ID. The road is open seasonally, June 15 to September 30.

7.1 of the 36 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 2 miles of dirt. Climbs 5,200 ft over 36 miles -- sustained grades near 12%, with pitches to 40%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~150 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 40 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.

Lolo Creek runs 0.1 mi off. Chamook Ridge stands 1,176 ft above the site, 1.7 miles east. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Kamiah, is 16 mi off.
