O'Hara Saddle Campground is an open ridgetop site on the edge of a meadow, often used as a base camp by big game hunters. Built to accommodate off-highway vehicles, the layout includes two camp pads and metal fire rings. There are currently no toilet facilities on site.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
Iron Mountain stands 1,582 ft above the site, 1.6 miles northwest. The nearest town, Grangeville, is 29 mi off.
