Springy Point Campground is set in a forest of firs, cedars, and pines along the Pend Oreille River, looking out toward the Cabinet and Selkirk Mountains. Located near the deep waters of Lake Pend Oreille, the park features 38 shady campsites—36 standard non-electric and two walk-to sites—along with flush toilets, showers, drinking water, and a reservable beachside picnic shelter. An on-site boat ramp and clear swim beach cater to water sports. Sandpoint is right across the water, accessible via a short boat ride or a trek across the Long Bridge.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

The Lake Pend Oreille shoreline is 0.1 mi off. One sits on the water -- most of them shaded. Bald Mountain stands 4,104 ft above the site, 8.2 miles northwest. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Sandpoint, is 3.3 mi off.

September normals 4372°F, 1.3″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
