A 69.4-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Kootenai County, ID. The road is open seasonally, May 22 to September 5.

Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 14-day limit in any 30 days. This rule applies May 1 to September 30 only.

1.6 of the 69.4 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 26.4 miles of dirt. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~140 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 50 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.
