Mokins Bay Campground sits under a dense pine canopy in the Coeur d'Alene Mountains, a 10-minute walk from the eastern shore of Hayden Lake. Reached via a gravel access road, the facility features paved parking spurs, drinking water, vault toilets, camp grills, and an on-site horseshoe pit. The nearby 3,800-acre lake offers opportunities for powerboating, water sports, and fishing for cutthroat trout and bass. Local spring wildflowers like trillium bloom across the grounds, and full services in Coeur d'Alene sit 21 miles away.
