1,594-acre state park near Walsenburg in Huerfano County overlooking the Spanish Peaks National Natural Landmark. Anchored by two lakes—Martin Lake and Horseshoe Lake—offering fishing for tiger muskie, rainbow trout, bass, catfish, and northern pike. Beach, boat ramps, water skiing, and windsurfing available. Park features 103 campsites, 8 miles of trails, and a golf course with restaurant. Recently added 4.5 miles of mountain bike trails accessible to hikers and e-bike users.
