Boise Creek Campground is set in a canopy of Pacific madrone, Douglas fir, and California bay trees at an elevation of 680 feet. Located two miles west of the Trinity River between Brush and Brannan Mountains, the campground offers single-family sites, including three tent-only options. Each site includes a picnic table and a campfire ring with a grill, with vault toilets and drinking water available on site. A half-mile trail connects the campground directly to Boise Creek. Whitewater rafting, swimming, and salmon fishing take place on the nearby Trinity River.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.

Brush Mountain stands 3,047 ft above the site, 2.1 miles south. Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, an 18-site campground. Boise Creek runs 0.2 mi off. Most of them shaded. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Willow Creek, is 1.0 mi off.

September normals 5291°F, 0.6″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
