Primitive group camp on Pine Creek within Mount Diablo State Park, set among oak woodlands and chaparral. Each site includes pit toilets, running water, picnic tables, and fire pits. Access over 80 miles of trails through varied oak, chaparral, and rock terrain with views of Mount Diablo's distinctive silhouette. The landscape contains 10-million-year-old marine fossils and volcanic outcroppings reflecting California's geological formation. Proximity to Pine Creek provides water access and cooler microclimates.
