Situated along a drainage in chaparral and mixed conifer terrain, this first-come, first-served off-highway vehicle campground offers eight sites that accommodate trailers up to 24 feet. On-site amenities include 11 picnic tables, fire rings, and two vault toilets. The adjacent stream provides winter and early spring fishing when water levels are high. The campground sits in the Grindstone Ranger District near the Little Stony OHV Staging Area, giving direct access to regional trail networks.

Road difficulty 4 of 5 -- a difficult drive in. Recorded as maintained only for high-clearance vehicles, dirt, pitching to 26%, 56% of it on a shelf. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
