Warm Springs Rec Area in CA -- Campground & RV Camping in California

Warm Springs Recreation Area is a day-use facility located at Lake Sonoma in the coastal foothills of Sonoma County. It has no overnight camping. The site features six covered group picnic shelters that each seat around 75 people and include large grills. The surrounding area consists of a large, mowed grass field with scattered shade trees, flush toilets, drinking water, sand volleyball courts, a sports field, and a playground. The Woodland Ridge Nature Trail starts here and climbs up the ridge. The adjacent lake offers swimming, boating, and fishing, with a visitor center across the street.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

A pond lies 0.1 mi off. Bummer Peak stands 919 ft above the site, 1.8 miles southwest. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Cloverdale, is 5.4 mi off.
