Lake Sonoma's Boat-In Sites are distributed across the arms of Lake Sonoma in the coastal foothills of Sonoma County. These primitive boat-in campsites have no vehicle access and can only be reached by boat or by hiking the extensive shoreline trail network. Boaters can also anchor in designated lake zones or tie up at marked shoreline sites. The lake supports populations of bass, sunfish, and native rainbow trout, with multi-use trails open to hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
