Set in a forest of ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, oak, and chaparral within Mendocino National Forest, this small, equestrian-friendly campground contains seven campsites and one day-use picnic site. Ground amenities include picnic tables, stoves, fire rings, hitching posts, and corrals, with capacity for trailers up to 30 feet. No drinking water or trash collection is provided on site. A 0.8-mile spur trail connects directly to the Deafy Glade Trail, which leads into the adjacent Snow Mountain Wilderness.

Road difficulty 2 of 5 -- a moderate drive in. Recorded as maintained for passenger cars, gravel, pitching to 8%, 40% of it on a shelf. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
