These Terms of Service are a contract between you and North Aspect LLC (doing business as “AnyRoost”).
By accessing or using the AnyRoost website, service, or applications, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the service.
AnyRoost provides mapping, data visualization, and related tools for informational purposes. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
AnyRoost is free to use without an account, offers additional features to registered accounts at no charge, and offers a paid subscription (“AnyRoost Pro”). By subscribing to AnyRoost Pro, you authorize North Aspect LLC to charge the annual subscription fee on a recurring basis via our payment processor, Stripe.

AnyRoost combines computational models (sky-view and terrain estimates from USGS elevation and satellite tree-cover data, night-sky brightness from satellite light measurements, PRISM climate normals) with published records: carrier-reported, modeled FCC broadband coverage maps; Forest Service, BLM, and U.S. Census road and land records; stay rules researched from official agency sources; and community-mapped points from OpenStreetMap and other sources. Coverage maps are what carriers report to the FCC, not measured signal. This data is approximate and may contain errors.
You must not rely on AnyRoost for navigation safety, emergency planning, survival decisions, or as a substitute for verifying local conditions in person. Road conditions, cell coverage, weather, fire danger, land access, and parking legality change constantly. Always verify current signage, local regulations, and conditions before camping or parking overnight.
The map and its places include data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL); see openstreetmap.org/copyright. The OpenStreetMap-derived part of our places database is available under the ODbL as osm-derived.ndjson.gz (gzipped newline-delimited JSON), regenerated with every data release: each campground, backcountry site, parking lot, water fill and dump station drawn from or matched to OpenStreetMap, with its OpenStreetMap identity and the AnyRoost place it became; the landmarks roads are named after and the gates, cattle guards and fords mapped across them; and OpenStreetMap's mapped campsites.
You may read, link to, quote, and share individual AnyRoost pages and places, and search engines may index them. Without our written permission, you may not use automated means, including scripts, crawlers, and AI agents, to copy or extract all or a substantial part of the AnyRoost places database or the data the map loads, or republish, sell, or use such a copy to build or supply another product, service, or dataset. This covers the database as AnyRoost compiles it: its selection and merging of places, its measurements, its researched rules, and how each place is described. It does not restrict the underlying public records, which remain available from the agencies that publish them, or OpenStreetMap data, whose OpenStreetMap-derived part of our database is available under the ODbL as described above. We may block access that we believe violates this section.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. North Aspect LLC makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the service or the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information, content, or materials included therein. To the fullest extent permitted by law, North Aspect LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall North Aspect LLC, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising out of or related to your use of the service, regardless of the theory of liability.
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect, the third parties that process it, and what each receives. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Any prepaid subscription fees for the remaining subscription period will not be refunded except where required by law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
