New Fork Group Campground sits in a grassy meadow surrounded by lodgepole pines, 24 miles north of Pinedale. The single open group area accommodates up to 150 people with informal parking for gatherings. Facilities include large picnic and serving tables, BBQ stands, a fire ring, two bear boxes for food storage, a double vault toilet, and garbage collection along the main road. Drinking water is not provided on site. New Fork Lake and its boat ramp are a short distance away, while the New Fork Trailhead sits 2.5 miles off with horse corrals and wilderness access.
