Fremont Lake Campground sits on a forested hillside at 7,400 feet along the east shore of Fremont Lake, 7 miles northeast of Pinedale. The facility contains 44 single sites, 4 double sites, and a 50-person group site, surrounded by aspen, Douglas fir, and juniper. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings with grills, vault toilets, drinking water, and an on-site boat ramp with a dock. The lake sits at the foot of the Wind River Range, and the Museum of the Mountain Man is located nearby in Pinedale.
