Deer Creek Cabin is a historic guard station set in lodgepole pine forest 13 miles from Alpine, positioned across the road from Greys River. The two-room structure sleeps six on three bunkbeds. Summer amenities (mid-June through Labor Day) include indoor plumbing with drinking water, a sink, flush toilet, and shower; an outdoor vault toilet is used in colder months. The cabin contains a propane cooktop, propane refrigerator, propane lights, wood stove, propane heater, table, and chairs. Outside, a picnic table and fire ring sit beside the cabin.
