Sundance Horse Camp sits in grassy valley meadows at the foothills of the Bear Lodge Mountains in Black Hills National Forest. Renovated in 2025 for modern trailer access, the campground features tent and RV sites with picnic tables and campfire rings, without electrical hookups. Built for equestrian use, it includes large parking areas, corrals, feed bunks, metal hitching rails, and an accessible loading ramp. The adjacent Sundance Trailhead connects directly to miles of non-motorized trails for riding, hiking, and biking, with Warren Peak Lookout Tower four miles north.
