Named for a 1890s German prospector, the site provides direct access to the Reuter Trailhead and the non-motorized Sundance Trail System, which weaves through the Bearlodge Mountains. Sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs, and each comes with a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets and drinking water are available on site, though there are no electric hookups. Nearby attractions include Warren Peak Lookout Tower and Devils Tower National Monument.
