Jack Creek Crew Quarters is a two-story log lodge sitting in a clearing of lodgepole pine, aspen, and conifer forest at 8,500 feet elevation in the Sierra Madre Range. The facility sleeps up to 15 people across five bedrooms with single and bunk beds. It features a double kitchen equipped with propane ranges, double sinks, and cookware, along with bathrooms with showers and flush toilets on both levels. Propane heat and solar-powered lighting are provided, with outdoor picnic tables and a large charcoal grill on site. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail passes just to the west.
