Nestled along West Tensleep Creek in a forest of lodgepole pine, Douglas fir, and spruce, this campground sits in the Bighorn National Forest. Single-family campsites feature picnic tables and campfire rings with grills, supported by vault toilets, hand-pump drinking water, and trash collection. Non-motorized boating and trout fishing are available four miles away at 125-acre West Tensleep Lake, while Meadowlark Lake is seven miles away for no-wake motorized boating. Cloud Peak Wilderness trailheads are five miles from camp, and the historic CCC-built High Park Lookout sits just to the east.
