3.5 of the 9.9 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (9.9 miles). Level ground alongside most of its length. Winds through 3 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Cattle guards 0.3, 2.8, 3.8 and 4.5 miles in.
