Atkisson Group Camp occupies flat, forested terrain west of Mt. Adams in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Operating as a group campsite from May to September, it accommodates up to 50 people with a large paved RV parking area, a 99-foot paved driveway, a central covered picnic building, fire rings, picnic tables, and vault toilets. No drinking water is available on-site. During winter, the site converts to a sno-park featuring a covered warming shed with a wood-burning stove for Nordic skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby trails permit summer hiking, mountain biking, and mushroom picking.
