Oklahoma Campground sits on flat ground beside the Little White Salmon River under a canopy of hemlock, cedar, maple, and fir near the Columbia River Gorge. The site includes tent-only locations and unpaved spurs that fit RVs up to 40 feet, along with a double site for groups up to 16 people. Amenities include potable water, vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. Visitors can wade or fish for trout in the river. Nearby trails include the Big Lava Bed Trail through basalt formations and the multi-use Monte Carlo Trail for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
